A. WAYNE ROBISON
A. Wayne Robison of Fillmore, age 90, died April 6, in the Fillmore Hospital.He was born March 6, 1896 in Fillmore to Franklin Alonzo [sic] and Gertrude Amelia Peterson Robison. He married Fern Ashby Dec. 20, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Dec. 5, 1954. He married Mable Trone in 1955. She died Aug. 23, 1975. He married Arilla Miller, later divorced. He was a High Priest, Bank Director and City Councilman.
He is survived by children Wayne Ashby of Fillmore; Harold Ray, Salt Lake City; Franklin Duane, Riverton; Elvin Doyle, Orem; Richard Ashby, Lawrence, KA; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wed., April 9, at 2 p.m. in the Fillmore 1st Ward LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Fillmore Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary.

Brother Aaron Wayne Robison, I lay my hands upon thy head as an ordained patriarch and, at thy request, give unto thee a blessing. I join with thee in asking our Father in Heaven to guide my thoughts and words that the blessing thou shalt receive will be inspired and will be a help to thee throughout thy life.
Brother Robison, thy Father in Heaven is mindful of thee and looks forward to thy coming back into His presence when it is time for thee to continue thy eternal progression in the spirit world. Thy life has been full; and thou hast been blessed to be a member of the Lord=s true church, to hold the holy Melchizedek priesthood, and to have been blessed with two wonderful helpmeets and children. Thy name shall be honored by thy descendants as one who loved the Lord and lived His commandments while upon the earth.
Thou art a descendant of Ephraim, the son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. The blessings promised the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have been conferred upon thee and upon thy righteous ancestors and will continue with thy descendants. Thou may take pride in the knowledge that thou art one of the elect of God who has prepared himself to live in the highest degree of the Celestial kingdom. The promise of Eternal life and all the attendant blessings will be given thee as a reward for thy faithfulness.
Continue to overcome al thy days. Have faith and hope that the teachings of the Lord will be realized and thy Father in Heaven will grant unto thee the blessings He has promised those who faithfully live the commandments of the Lord. Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, and thou wilt be lifted up and find joy and happiness as thou look forward to a continuation of thy life in the spirit world. Continue to study the scriptures for the knowledge and intelligence thou shalt gain here will be for thy advantage and blessing and benefit hereafter.
Thou still hast a mission to perform, and thou wilt teach the gospel in the spirit world when the Lord calls thee to thy rest. Thou hast been blessed with spiritual blessings, as well as temporal blessings. Bear thy testimony to those whom thou home teach, also to those who are weak in the faith, and to thy children and grandchildren so they will know the goodness of the Lord to thee throughout thy life. Help them establish a pattern that will keep them close to thee as a family and close to the Lord.
Remember, Brother Robison, that all the promises given in the House of the Lord shall be fulfilled; and thou shalt be called forth on the morning of the first resurrection along with thy family and live during the millennial period, assisting the Lord in building Zion. Thou wilt be able to enter into the highest degree of the Celestial kingdom and attain the blessings promised thee in the temple of being a king and a priest to the most high God. Thou wilt father spirit children, for these are the blessings thou hast been promised.
Continue to endure to the end in righteousness and prove to the Lord through thy faith and prayers that these are thy goals and desires, and they shall be granted thee. These blessings I seal upon thee, according to thy faithfulness and in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
